What this app does

Friday Content Publisher is a personal automation tool that uploads short videos to the operator's own TikTok account (@tjhiggy) using TikTok's official Content Posting API. A video is only uploaded after the operator explicitly approves that specific video.

Data we collect

• TikTok OAuth credentials: access tokens and refresh tokens issued when the operator authorizes the app, along with the TikTok open_id.
• Basic account info: the display name and username provided through TikTok's Login Kit (user.info.basic scope), used only to confirm the authorized account.
• Video files: the operator's own video files supplied for upload, plus the titles, descriptions, and cover images the operator approves for each video.

How we use it

Solely to authenticate with TikTok and publish operator-approved videos to the operator's own TikTok account. Nothing else.

What we don't do

• No sharing, selling, or disclosure of data to third parties, except transmitting the video and its metadata to TikTok itself as required to perform the upload.
• No analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
• No collection of data about anyone other than the operator.

Storage and security

Tokens and account identifiers are stored in secure credential storage accessible only to the operator's automation environment. Video files are retained only as long as needed to complete the upload.

Retention and deletion

Data is retained only while the app remains in use. The operator may revoke the app's TikTok authorization at any time through TikTok's authorized-apps settings, which invalidates all tokens. To request deletion of any stored data, contact tiktok@higgins.ws.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same URL with a revised effective date.
